I walk across the rolling plain,
a sublime ether whispers past.
It kisses my ear with a secret of love.
The mountain tower in the north beckons my soul.
The path is hard, but I will not fall.
It is the one less traveled,
but such a road is my destiny.
I am inexorably drawn, a silken tendril,
anchored to my very spirit.
...Will this bring the unity I crave?

Written for someone special. It has been awhile since I've expressed my artistic side, longer still since I have written. It's short, but has deep meaning to me.
